FORGERY, GLOBAL DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCER AND THE CONSUMER
In general, the falsification of high class and valuable products is estimated to be by 10% of the products sold, thus generating considerable losses to the producers, confusion in the market, and serious damages to the final consumers.
CUSTOMIZED, INDIVIDUAL, NOT MASSIVE NOR DUPLICABLE IDENTIFICATION OF THE PRODUCT.
Most of the existing forgery-proof systems, such as RFID, holograms or labels with univocal numbers can be copied by forgers because they are mass systems, or can be duplicated by the manufacturer or by whom generates the data or the software. Dacom has developed, with a number of researchers, specialized in this field, a patented system that allows to generate and insert or apply a unique and customized identification (Univocal Sign) on each product, thus giving it a “fingerprint”, that even Dacom itself cannot duplicate and that identifies the product univocally.
ACTIVE ROLE OF THE CONSUMER
The consumer can easily verify the authenticity of a product taking a photograph of the UnivocalSign and sending it via WEB or e-mail directly from his mobile phone of computer, or noting the alphanumeric code and sending it by SMS or email and receiving the outcome of the test.
UNIVOCALSIGN IS ORIGINALITY, TRACEABILITY AND DIALOGUE WITH THE CONSUMER
The system Univocal Sign creates a direct line with the consumer and, besides ensuring the originality of the product, is used to detect the traceability of those products subject to theft and put back in the market, or to products marketed in a different market than that for which they were intended and allows the manufacturer to trace the origin of the forgery in its protection in order to block the spread of the counterfeit product.
